With nearly 20 years of experience in the coffee industry and a history of success in prestigious competitions, Norange was founded by Hellenic Roasting Champion Alex Nerantzis. Norange is the culmination of a lifelong dedication to perfecting the art of coffee.

Our journey began in 2007 on the island of Corfu, Greece, where Alex launched Cafetierra, a company focused on delivering premium coffee products and services to the local market. From the very beginning, the goal was clear: to elevate the coffee experience by offering only the finest coffee.

In 2019, Alex’s dedication to the craft led him to the Greek Coffee Roasting Championship, where he secured third place in his debut competition. His hard work paid off in 2022 when he was crowned Greek Coffee Roasting Champion and went on to place fourth in the World Coffee Roasting Championship in Milan.

Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Norange brand represents Alex’s continued pursuit of excellence in every cup. We are committed to sourcing, roasting, and serving exceptional coffee, always without compromise.

At Norange, we source only the finest single-origin beans from some of the world’s best farmers. Whether you're enjoying a perfectly brewed espresso on-site or taking home fresh beans to brew yourself, we’re here to provide you with an unforgettable coffee experience.

our roastery

At Norange, our roasting style is inspired by Nordic coffee culture. We believe that every coffee has its unique character, and to unlock its full potential, each one deserves its own tailored roasting profile. That’s why we use both espresso and filter roasting profiles, ensuring that we bring out the best in every batch we roast, continuing the work of some of the world’s best farmers by roasting their beans to perfection.

Currently, we roast on the Loring S15 Falcon, at The Coffee Roasting Company on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen. This machine allows us to achieve the consistency and precision we demand for our small-batch roasting process. 

Our ultimate goal is to open our own roastery, where we can take even more control over every step of the process and share our coffee with the world, reflecting the values we’ve built in Corfu.
